British gaming friend from 2016-2017. Jay and Jonas ganged up with Andy and his streaming friend Guy in the game The Division.

Andy, being analytical and strategic minded, tended to research the games at hand. He shared his discoveries in a characteristic way, often beginning with "Apparently..." in his British accent, which Jay and Jonas found to be very amusing.

One time in August 2016, when Jay and Jonas were playing Dying Light, Andy got on Discord and calmly stated that he had just now cut his finger quite severe on a knife. Jay and Jonas were puzzled about his cool-headedness and priorities and found the situation rather odd.

Likewise an international student at the University of Evansville. Became friends with Jay in 1997.

When Jay was in Sweden 2013, he went to Anette's summer residence in Öland.

Jay and Mimi visited Amsterdam in 2013, after having been to Sweden.

Jay's mother. Born October 20, 1942 in Taiwan. Maiden name Lu. Seems to have married an Åke Fristedt 1984 (born 1931) and immigrated to Sweden in 1985. Åke passed away June 25, 1985, but no further records on this man are to be found. Jay never mentioned anything about him.

Amy was a businesswoman, running a company named World Market Import & Export, which still is visible on the Internet. She was often abroad, leaving young Jay with some money on the kitchen table. Pretty stern. Could burst out 'Bloody boy!' when angry at Jay, but Jay never showed any fear of her temper.

According to Jay, they talked "as mother and son" for the first time when Amy was hospitalized, before she passed away from cancer on July 22, 2000. She is buried at Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm. Here is the grave. Jay claimed that he didn't have a photo of her.

Swedish old friend. First introduced by Jonas in the summer of 1992. Did the military service at the same time and at the same regiment as Jay, in 1994.

Andreas rented the basement in Jay's house (Nesbit Court) 2006-2008. When Andreas announced that he was moving out, Jay got depressed for a period of time, showing that he probably had started to view Andreas as somewhat of a family member.

Jay grew a habit of drinking red wine quite often, at least 2013-2016. Scaled down in 2017.
